Rubidoux in 2022, he served as Youth Pastor at First Church SDA in Huntsville, Alabama. Known for his passion for discipleship, leadership development, and authentic connection, Kyle is committed to helping young people build a vibrant faith and discover their purpose in Christ.

Dr. Andrea King is Vice President for Black Ministries for the Southeastern California Conference and a pioneering leader in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. In 2012, she became the first Black woman ordained as a pastor in the denomination and has served more than 20 years in pastoral ministry. Known for her passion for discipleship, leadership development, and authentic ministry, Dr. King is committed to helping people discover their God-given calling and use their gifts to advance God's kingdom. She is a dynamic speaker, mentor, and advocate for transformative ministry.

Bio

Pastor Steven Christopher Dorsey serves as Associate Pastor for Evangelism and New Members at Oakwood University Church and is employed by the South Central Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. A 2023 graduate of Oakwood University, Pastor Dorsey is passionate about personal evangelism, Bible work, and helping people develop meaningful relationships with Christ. Pastor Dorsey has served as a Bible instructor in major city-wide evangelistic campaigns with Breath of Life Ministries on both coasts, helping lead more than 100 individuals to Christ. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Evangelist Lawrence S. Dorsey Sr., he has participated in evangelistic initiatives throughout the Southern California, South Atlantic, and Pacific Union Conferences. He has spoken at youth congresses, Bible instructors' guilds, youth rallies, and university programs across the country.

Heather was a communication professor for nearly 15 years. She is now the founder of Cross Communication, a Christian Speakers Directory and speaking development firm that is committed to interracial, interdenominational, and intergenerational Kingdom work carried out by witnesses. Heather's writing has been featured on outlets like the Today Show, and the National Communication Association. She has been interviewed by BBC Radio Live and The Wall Street Journal. Her email devotional, Friday Night Light, encourages over 10,000 people every single week. Bio

Iki Tolu Taimi has been the Lead Pastor of La Sierra University Church since May of 2022. Iki is a sixth-generation Adventist immigrant who grew up in the urban regions of Southern California and found his way to La Sierra University for his higher education journey. He graduated from La Sierra University Divinity School with both his undergraduate and graduate degrees. Pastor Iki has worked as the Southern California Conference as Senior Youth & Young Adult Director, church planter, and lead pastor at the Gardena Genesis Community Church. Prior to that, he was an Associate Chaplain and enrollment counselor at La Sierra University. He is currently finishing his Doctoral work at Fuller Theological Seminary with a focus in church formation, relational well-being, and the calling to justice. Iki's family includes his wife, Melanie, an ICU nurse supervisor at Adventist Health White Memorial, and their children, Mikayla (13) and Lio (11).

What Is the
Young Adult Rally?

The Young Adult Rally is a weekend designed specifically for young adults who are seeking more—more of God, more authentic community, and more clarity about the purpose He has for their lives. Hosted by Breath of Life Television Ministries in partnership with the Greater Los Angeles Region (GLAR) and the Southern California Conference (SCC), this experience brings together young adults from across the country for powerful worship, practical messages, meaningful conversations, and unforgettable fellowship.

Now in its third year, the Young Adult Rally was born from Pastor Debleaire Snell's deep burden to see this generation know Jesus personally and boldly embrace the calling God has placed on their lives. He believes young adults aren't waiting for their moment—they are called to make an impact right now. Our prayer is that you'll leave this weekend refreshed, inspired, and surrounded by a community that will encourage your faith long after the rally ends. Whether you're searching for direction, looking to grow spiritually, or simply hoping to connect with other young adults who love God, we believe this weekend is for you.

No. The Disneyland outing is an optional add-on. Guests may purchase the Young Adult Rally + Disneyland Bundle, which includes a discounted group-rate Disneyland ticket. Please note that parking fees are not included in the ticket price. Parking fees at Disneyland are $40 per car and $50 per bus/van.
The discounted Young Adult Rally + Disneyland Bundle is available through August 7. After August 7, you're still welcome to join us at Disneyland, but you'll need to purchase your ticket directly through Disneyland at regular admission prices.
Yes! The Sabbath Worship Experience is open to everyone and does not require rally registration. However, all other Young Adult Rally activities—including the Friday night events, breakout sessions, Sabbath lunch, Garden Party, and other special experiences—are reserved for registered attendees.
Children are welcome to attend the Sabbath Worship Experience with their families. All other rally activities are designed for registered participants. If your children plan to participate in the weekend programming, they must be registered.
The rally will be held at: Grace Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church at Vallejo Drive 300 Vallejo Dr, Glendale, CA 91206 The Saturday evening All-White Garden Party will be held at The Preserve 1370 N St Andrews Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90028 and the optional Disneyland outing will take place on Sunday in Anaheim, CA.

We recommend staying in either Glendale or Pasadena, both of which offer excellent hotel options and convenient access to Grace Hill SDA Church, our Saturday evening Garden Party, and the rest of the Young Adult Rally weekend. (Vallejo Drive Church)

Hilton Pasadena – A full-service hotel near the Pasadena Convention Center offering spacious accommodations, an outdoor pool, and easy freeway access.

Residence Inn by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town – Perfect for extended stays or groups wanting extra space, with studio and suite-style accommodations that include kitchenettes.

Both Glendale and Pasadena are excellent home bases for the weekend, offering plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping while keeping you within a convenient drive of all Young Adult Rally events.

Parking is available at the rally venue and at The Preserve. Please note that Disneyland parking is not included with the Disneyland ticket and must be purchased separately upon arrival.
Weekend attire is casual and comfortable. For Saturday night's All-White Garden Party, we encourage all attendees to wear white attire as we gather for an unforgettable evening of fellowship and celebration.
Registration closes at midnight on August 17, to allow our team time to finalize event planning, seating, meals, swag bags, and attendee materials. We encourage you to register early to secure your spot and help us prepare an incredible Young Adult Rally experience for everyone!
Come anyway! One of the best parts of the Young Adult Rally is the opportunity to meet new people and build authentic friendships. Between the Friday Night Mixer, breakout sessions, meals, and social events, you'll have plenty of opportunities to connect with other young adults from across the country.
